The new airport that will service both Tetuoan and Tangiers will only be 30 mins away. Both the Spanish Government and Moroccan Government have agreed to build a 39 kilometre rail tunnel beneath the Mediterranean Sea. This will link Europe to Africa. The link will be from Punta Palomas (40 km from Gibraltar) and Punta Malabata near Tangiers.
