Located 8 kilometres south from Marrakech international airport and 14 kilometres from Jema El Fna square, the SAMANAH COUNTRY CLUB, the first serviced gated community in Morocco, will cover 285 hectares (692 acres) with a unique view on the Atlas mountains. Each villa has its own swimming pool and garden which offers the comfort of a desert oasis. Situated around “the Chip and Putt” area which gives the perfectionists a chance to master their “chip” and their “putt”, the CARISSA villas allow you to benefit from all the advantages of the SAMANAH Country Club while being within walking distance of main square, the spa and all facilities.
Chip and Putt
In the centre of the Carissa villas, an area has been reserved for practising the short game with very short par 3’s (the longest will be 70 meters). Being very technical, this course will allow beginners to develop the skills required for the full range of approach shots - putting, getting out of bunkers, rolled and lobbed approach shots. This 9 hole “Chip and Putt” will be built to the same standard as the Samanah main golf course with extremely fast USGA greens. A stream will cross the entire course, complicating the task for the layers and making the course an exciting challenge for golfers of all levels. Moreover the course will be lit at night allowing for a usage during the cooler evenings of the summer months.
